Bike to School - and to Work
Biking is great for the environment, your wallet, and your health. There are bike loops in dozens of locations around campus - check them out in the Guide to Michiana Bike Routes.
Regional Transportation Planning
The Michiana Area Council of Governments (MACOG) is collaborating with South Bend Public Transportation (TRANSPO) to develop the CONNECT Transit Plan. CONNECT will address the area's long-range transportation plan, which includes bussing, walking, biking, and more. You can provide your thoughts by filling out the Michiana On the Move Survey.
As the world's leading car-sharing network, Zipcar provides a variety of high-efficiency, low-cost cars on demand by the hour or by the day for students on campuses across the country, and encourages students to leave their cars at home during the school year.
The annual membership fees are waived for department accounts and residence hall staff. For additional information including membership fees and rates, visit the Zipcar website.
Zipcar is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni 18 and older, allowing you to leave your personal vehicle at home during the school year.
