University develops goals in six areas
At approximately 30,000 square feet, the East Plant facility is part of campus utilities’ long-range plan to become more sustainable.
A single contaminated item among a load of otherwise clean recyclables will cause the entire load to end up in a landfill.
Each project contributed to a decrease in carbon emissions, reducing the campus carbon footprint.
Duncan Student Center, O’Neill Hall, and Corbett Family Hall were designed and constructed with the goal of seeking LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
