Water

Water is one of our most important natural resources and assets and plays a vital role in University operations.  We use it for heating and cooling, for food, drink, and hygiene, and for keeping our campus beautiful.  Fortunately, the University's geography and climate provide easy access to clean and abundant water. 

Yet, as Pope Francis advocates, even where water seems plentiful, we must use it wisely and avoid waste.  While the University has taken a number of steps to reduce its water use and reuse, additional strategies can yield greater efficiencies.
