Earth Month

In our office, every day is Earth Day! But in April, we work with collaborators across campus to celebrate Earth Month, an expansion of Earth Day.

Earth Day was famously established in 1970 and occurs annually on April 22. Because environmental action is needed now more than ever, many organizations and individuals celebrate the entire month of April through engagement activities, events, or acts of service.

At Notre Dame, Earth Month is 30 days filled with opportunities to connect the campus community and celebrate our common home. We encourage everyone at the University to participate in some way. Whether that’s setting up your own event for your dorm, office, or colleagues or participating in an existing event.
