"Composting: What It Is, Why It Matters" will feature two speakers: Ben Carson from the St. Joseph County Solid Waste Management District and Brian Will from the St. Pius X Catholic Church Creation Care Team in Granger. They will speak on best composting practices, why composting is an important issue, and how composting is an inexpensive approach to creating a cleaner and healthier environment that individuals can quickly learn and use.
Refreshments will be provided, and composting bins and countertop composters will be on display.
