After a year hiatus, Merry Lea’s annual Sustainability Summit returns to empower more sustainability leaders on college campuses in our region. The Sustainability Summit is a collegiate conference that creates opportunities for participants to:
- Learn leadership skills from professionals
- Gain knowledge and ideas to use on campus and beyond
- Network with sustainability leaders from other schools
- Connect personal faith to sustainability
Because of the hard, strange times we have been through in recent years, we are thoughtfully entering the Summit out of concern for students’ wellbeing. We want to acknowledge how each of us are coping with the anxiety of a pandemic, while also feeling (and observing, more and more) the gravity of the climate crisis.
When: Saturday, February 19, 1 – 4 p.m. (EST)
Where: The comfort of your own space; held on Zoom
