Eli Williams, Executive Director, The LGBTQ Center
Eli Williams will discuss her circuitous, full circle journey to becoming Executive Director of The LGBTQ Center, including working as a cashier and dishwasher at the the Purple Porch Co-op. A co-op dedicated to environmental sustainability has lessons for social justice movements of all kinds. By sharing her story of living with chronic illness, Eli will discuss the necessity of self-care to be a sustainable, caring activist.
