On April 7th, students experienced campus from a new perspective at the Walsh Hall Tree Sit. Over sixty students participated in the event, taking turns sitting in trees outside Walsh in order to raise money for the Arbor Day Foundation. The students raised over $400 for the Arbor Day Foundation, a national organization that encourages tree planting and appreciation.

Sustainability commissioners Julie Zorb and Claire Brown organized this new signature event for Walsh Hall. “We were surprised and excited at the participation and interest that we received," said Brown. “Everyone was so supportive, and we had so many great volunteers! It was a great day to enjoy nature and just hang out.”
