The seventh annual Michiana Bike to Work Week challenge is coming up on May 21-25, and members of the Notre Dame community are encouraged to create or join a campus team.
Making the green list
Notre Dame was recently highlighted in The Princeton Review’s Guide to 322 Green Colleges, which recognizes schools that “demonstrate a strong commitment to sustainability in their academic offerings, campus infrastructure, activities, and career preparation.”
Celebrate Arbor Day
Notre Dame will celebrate Arbor Day this Friday, April 27 with a tour of the campus’ most magnificent trees and the lauch of a virtual tree tour, which allows users to learn about campus trees and take self-guided tours at their convenience.
Drinks on the House
In a huge step forward for campus sustainability, water bottle filling stations will be installed on the first floor of every residence hall on campus this summer.
