Class of 2012’s Angela Ginocchio won the Grab ’n Go Raffle this past Friday, April 3rd. Angela says her reusable grab ’n go bag comes in handy all the time. In addition to using it for picking up breakfast at grab ’n go, she uses it instead of a plastic bag when shopping at the Huddle and getting a sandwich at Subway. She selected a pair of leprechaun earrings for her prize.
To win the Grab ’n Go raffle, students must bring a reusable bag to gather their items rather than using the provided paper bags. Members of the Office of Sustainability regularly show up unannounced at the Grab ’n Go and the first person they see with a reusable bag becomes a winner; prizes include apparel from the Notre Dame bookstore, Flex Points, and a 6-foot sub from Subway.
