It’s spring, and on hundreds of college campuses across the country, that means it’s time for Recyclemania. GreeND kicked off a series of recycling awareness events beginning with a St. Patrick’s Day Party on the Fieldhouse Mall, which featured recycling displays, cookies, drinks, free reusable cups, and a drawing for great recycled prizes. More great events are coming up in the next few days:

Enthusiasm for more Recyclemania events is high after the successful St. Patrick’s Day Kickoff. “People really got to see the great potential recycling has to reduce waste in landfills and make new creations like our unique door prizes,” said Connor Kobeski ‘10. Meehan Lenzen ’11 added, "The St. Paddy’s Day atmosphere on campus and the beautiful weather made it a great day to be promoting going green!" See our Facebook page for more Recyclemania photos.
