The Office of Sustainability, in conjunction with the University's shred provider, Shred-It, will once again host the free Shred Your Home Files at Work Day for all current and retired University faculty, staff, and current students on Friday, September 20, 2019. The event offers you the opportunity to securely shred your confidential home documentation at work.
A Shred-It truck will be parked in the Mason Services Center parking lot located just off St. Joseph Drive behind the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union. The truck accepts paper only, so please make sure to remove all binders before dropping off your documents for shredding (staples are acceptable). For the courtesy of others, we ask everyone to limit their shred materials to no more than five file-size boxes so that everyone has the opportunity to go through the line. We also ask that you stay until your documents are on the shred truck as Notre Dame cannot be responsible for papers left unattended. As in years past, you can also leave your empty cardboard boxes behind for recycling.
The event will be held "rain or shine."
