The St. Joseph County Public Library will be hosting authors and adventurers Dave and Amy Freeman on the Pedal to DC: Book Tour to Save the Boundary Waters at the Main Library on Monday, May 21, at 6:00 p.m. They will be discussing their exploration, environmental advocacy, and their new book, A Year in the Wilderness.
Adventure awaits during this special evening. The couple, en route from Minnesota to Washington DC by bike, will be spending an evening at the Library to discuss their new book, which records their year-long stay in one of America’s most treasured natural preserves. Their presentation will focus on their exploration, advocacy, and efforts to protect Minnesota's Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Books will be available for purchase, and a book signing will follow. The author event is free and open to the public.
