The spring semester Green Ambassadors meeting will take place on Thursday, February 11th, from 12-1pm in the South Dining Hall Hospitality room. This semester’s meeting will feature Bob Werner and Jamey Bontrager-Singer, Mechanical Engineers from Notre Dame’s Utilities Department who will be discussing strategies for conserving energy and saving money on your home utility bills.

With temperatures dipping in the middle of winter, it’s a prime time to learn about your energy use and how to conserve. Bob and Jamey will be bringing decades of experience in the energy field to explain how to understand your utility bills by working through examples from both I&M and NIPSCO. They’ll also discuss how to access and use “smart meter” data from your utility company, and detail the top ten best energy saving strategies that will save you money this winter.

All current Green Ambassadors are invited as well as any interested coworkers. Please bring your own lunch, dessert and drinks will be provided.

Please RSVP here.
