Kaitlyn Howard of Farley Hall won the Grab ’n Go Raffle on January 29th in South Dining Hall. Upon winning, she declared, “Carrying my reusable bag with me is really easy. I felt bad throwing away the paper bag every time I got Grab ’n Go, but now I don’t have to worry about it.”
To win the Grab ’n Go raffle, students must bring a reusable bag to gather their items rather than using the provided paper bags. Members of the Office of Sustainability regularly show up unannounced at the Grab ’n Go and the first person they see with a reusable bag becomes a winner; prizes include apparel from the Notre Dame bookstore, Flex Points, and a 6-foot sub from Subway.
