On Sunday August 29th, South Quad will host an outdoor screening of Planet Earth, the groundbreaking BBC production that caught many wonders of the natural world on film for the first time. Snacks and drinks will be served, and everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the late summer evening.
“Planet Earth’s stunning video footage will be especially impressive on an 18-foot screen,” said Rachel Novick of the Office of Sustainability, which is sponsoring the event along with the Energy Center, Students for Environmental Action, the Climbing Club, and GreeND. Showtime is 8:30-10 pm.
