The 10th annual Michiana Bike to Work Week challenge is coming up on June 14-20, and members of the Notre Dame community are encouraged to create or join a campus team.
This year’s on-campus events are sponsored by the Office of Sustainability, Rec Sports, the Office of Human Resources, Notre Dame Food Services and BikeND. Events include a daily grab and go breakfast for commuters in front of the west entrance of Hesburgh Library, a raffle for an assortment of bike accessories and a 200 dollar winning prize for the team that bikes the most during the week.
Registration is now open and participants have the option to start a subteam or join an existing one under the University of Notre Dame team. Any miles ridden by bike or using Transpo instead of driving count toward the competition. For more information and to register, visit http://www.michianabiketowork.org.
