After Earth Day, keep the environmental spirit alive by joining the city of South Bend for an Arbor Day Event at Kelly Park! Forestry Division will be giving away over 100 trees. These are important additions to the City of South Bend's tree canopy. The City of South Bend Engineering Department will teach the kids about the science of trees and their importance to the community. Fun, educational tree related crafts will be available, thanks to the Experience Division. Information on planting and caring for trees will also be available.
