Interested in solar panels for your home or business? A grassroots group of community members have partnered with MACOG and the Office of Sustainability to launch Solarize South Bend. The initiative received the unanimous endorsement of the South Bend Common Council and is supported by a statewide network of volunteer experts.
Solarize South Bend is a community initiative to help homes and businesses go solar in 2017. Participants get a fair quote and a discount on solar panel installation. Attend an info session to take advantage of this limited program. Although this is for January through April 2018 installations, all contracts must still be signed by the end of Solarize deadline of 12/31/2017. Visit www.solarizeni.org.
The Solarize initiative will make it easier, faster, and cheaper to go solar and beat the Jan. 1, 2018 deadline for net metering. Solarize takes the guesswork out of shopping for solar and provides discounted pricing on panels and installation (like Costco for solar!).
The workshop is hosted in Goshen, IN but is open to residents and businesses of South Bend, Elkhart, and the surrounding areas.
