Turn off the Lights
Your lab has a lot of lighting so you can see your experiments well. Take a look at the ceiling and count the bulbs. Each fluorescent tube is about 32 watts. Add them up and you’ll find that you can save hundreds of dollars a year by making sure the lights are turned out when the last person leaves for the day.
